Introduction....
The Boston Marathon Bombing happened on April 15th, 2013 in Boston Massachusetts. This happened around 2:50 pm on Boylston street. The race clock read 4:09:43 and the first bomb went off. People were running around like crazy. The people on the sidelines were all sitting and waiting for their loved ones and all the sudden they had to run for their lives and run the opposite way. There were guards along the race that told all the runners were told to turn around and run the other way. None of them knew what was happening until the second bomb went off, that's when everybody started to worry. The two bombs killed 3 people and injured more than 250. Some people lost their legs and some other body parts. Many people are also in serious condition still in the hospital and still have to be under watch in case something would happen. A local resident exclaims " I always thought , They'll get Boston someday, but you just never think in your life you're going to witness a terrorist attack" said 50-year-old Karen Stokes a lady who was sitting in the bleachers across the street from the finish line and saw the glass break and the bodies fall when the first bomb exploded. "I still don't quite believe it."
As police were blocking off Boylston street, residents layed flowers in front of the Do Not Enter signs at both ends of the street, but most layed closest to the finish line. This upcoming 2014 Boston Marathon is in dedication of all the people that were killed and injured last year at the race.
